Onuoha Mathias

The name Mathias Onuoha: Significantly Mathias in Hebrew means “gift of God (Yahweh) and Onuoha means “the voice of the people in English. He is from Obimo in Nsukka area of Enugu State in Nigeria. Mathias Onuoha has attracted and facilitated various rural development projects from some reputable Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the government to many rural communities within Enugu State of Nigeria. Some of these developmental agencies are; the West African Agricultural Productivity Programme (WAAPP), the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan, National Fadama III, World Bank Assisted Projects, etc. Many people in some Local Governments Areas of Enugu State and beyond are beneficiaries of his services. His facilitation on economic empowerment and activities covered the followings: poultry and piggery production, honey production and marketing, cold room, fish ponds production, Nsukka yellow pepper, roadside market, garden-egg and cassava production. He is also rendering advisory and capacity building services to the youths, women and men cooperative societies on some economic enterprises. He has actively assisted some schools to establish and strengthen the guidance, counselling and school social work in their schools. Mathias Onuoha is promoting the Nigeria Police service through the Capacity Building Initiatives and extracts from his book as captured on the fundamental human rights, theories of criminal behaviour, the importance of human relationships, human rights abuses by leaders and law enforcement agencies. Following his work experience as a one-time banker and the wealth of knowledge acquired from his research work on the Roles of Microfinance Banks in Rural community development in Nigeria, his unique writings have broadened the diversification and income-generating strategies of many Microfinance Banks in Nigeria. Mathias Onuoha has the passion of helping the vulnerable children and the less privileged ones in the society and the said passion made him write the Book titled “Unraveling the Corridors of Power: A focus on Human Rights, Social Work and Leaders of Nations” to caution the leaders on the truth that human race is at the point of disappearance. Thus leaders should urgently address positively, all the cardinal points behind poverty, ignorance and crime, through human rights and Social Work (social welfare and social development). It is for the purpose of posterity and changing this world of wickedness of man, maladjustment and selfishness, that his books are recommended to you and some copies as gifts to your loved ones.
